Paint is only as good as the prep underneath it. We mask, patch, prime and paint interiors and exteriors for homes across the valley.

Painter spraying interior walls during a painting project in Gervais, OR

A good paint job is mostly work you do not see: masking windows and floors, scraping loose paint, patching holes, sanding patches smooth and priming bare spots so the finish coat sticks. On remodels and new drywall, that prep is what separates walls that look flat and even from walls that show every seam under the light.

Oregon adds its own twist. Exterior surfaces stay damp for much of the year, so moss and mildew have to be cleaned off, caulk joints have to be sound, and paint has to go on during dry weather with surfaces fully dry. Most exterior coatings list minimum temperature and moisture limits for application, which is why the dry season is the busy season for exterior painters.

We paint for homeowners and also finish the work of our own remodeling projects, so we know how a patched ceiling or fresh drywall wants to be primed. Choose interior or exterior below, or call to talk through colors, surfaces and timing.

What good prep looks like on our jobs

Protect what is not being painted

Floors, windows, hardware and furniture are masked and covered, and we leave the space clean when we go.

Surfaces repaired before they are covered

Cracks, nail pops, dings and bare patches are fixed first so the finish does not telegraph them.

Products matched to the surface

Primers and paints are chosen for drywall, wood, trim or siding and for the moisture the surface will see.

Painting questions, answered

How long does interior painting take?
A single room can be done in a day or two, while a whole house takes longer because of masking, patching and the time paint needs to dry between coats. We give you a schedule with your quote.
When is the best time to paint the outside of a house in Oregon?
Late spring through early fall, when days are dry and temperatures meet the paint manufacturer's application range. Surfaces must be fully dry, so a wet week can push a start date.
Do you paint after drywall repairs or remodeling work?
Yes. We finish drywall in our remodeling jobs and paint the result, so patches and new surfaces get primed and blended properly.
Can you help me choose colors?
We can talk through sheen, undertones and how light in your rooms changes color. For final selection we recommend sample swatches on your own walls.
Do you remove furniture or should I?
Light items are best moved by you, and we will cover and shift larger pieces away from the walls. We will explain what to expect before we start.
